The Two "Seals of God"
Most all Sabbath keepers are aware of the "Seal of God" found in the 4th Commandment of God's Moral Law—the Sabbath Commandment.
Exodus 20:8-11, the 4th Commandment written by God's own finger, gives us the complete Sabbath Commandment.
Most people are fully aware that God's Holy 7th day Sabbath was established back at the end of the Creation week, as we see in Genesis 2:2-3. The 7th day of EVERY week, beginning Friday night at sundown through Saturday night at sundown, is the ONLY day of the week that was blessed and sanctified by God. This is the day He rested and He commands us to keep that weekly Sabbath day holy as well, not doing any work or our own pleasure, but reserving it fully unto Him.
God is our Creator; that is, it is His right to require whatever He chooses of us. We can choose to obey or disobey, but if we disobey Him here, we will also lose out on eternal life. The wages of sin is death. Sin is the transgression of God’s Law. God’s moral law is His 10 commandments. None of them were nailed to the cross. Only the sacrificial ordinances were nailed to the cross. We now have an opportunity to repent of breaking His Sabbath and choosing to obey God, and our sins will be forgiven. But that time for forgiveness is limited. Jesus is finishing the TRUE Atonement now, in heaven, in the Most Holy Place of the heavenly sanctuary, as our High Priest.
Waiting to repent until the day we are dying (when we have always known and ignored His requirements of us) or thinking we will repent when we see Jesus in the clouds, will guarantee we will be lost.
If we won't obey God HERE on this earth, He will not allow rebellious stubborn disobedient humans in heaven.
Moving on. The "Seal of God"'s authority and jurisdiction is found in the 4th Commandment.
Exodus 20:8-11 says:
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
His Authority: "the Lord thy God";
His Jurisdiction: "the Lord MADE heaven and earth, the sea, and all them in them is"
His Designation of The 7th day: "the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed (made holy) it".

While most Sabbath-keepers are fully aware of this, many have been led to believe that all they need to do to be saved is to "keep God's Sabbath day holy".

While those who will be saved WILL keep God's 7th Day Sabbath Holy, NOT ALL who keep God's Sabbath will be saved.
Everyone needs to understand this.
Again, many Sabbath keepers will not be saved.
For those living at the end of time, God’s obedient, faithful people must receive the "SEAL OF GOD" that goes out at the conclusion of Jesus' current ongoing "Judgment-Atonement-Cleansing of the Sanctuary” just before the 7 last plagues fall [Read Rev. 16].
What is the "SEAL OF GOD"?
This Seal of God is what will protect Jesus Christ's TRUE and faithful followers through the time of the 7 last plagues as stated in Rev. 16.
Keep in mind, there is NO evidence of a special 'rapture" of God's people BEFORE the 7 last plagues. That idea is a popular theory to make people feel comfortable -- but it is another of Satan's many lies, which millions have been told and believed. There is only ONE trip to heaven!! No one is there yet, except Moses, Enoch and Elijah, and the 24 elders. The rest of us have to wait until Jesus returns.
Again, "WHAT IS THIS 2nd "SEAL OF GOD"?
This is the seal that the man with the writer's inkhorn goes through and places on those who will be saved through the 7 last plagues. You can read about this in Ezekiel 9. It is one of the most disturbing prophecies of the Bible, but it is better we know the truth.
This is extremely important that everyone is familiar with the “man with the "writer's inkhorn" who places the protective Seal on God's faithful people before the 7 last plagues are poured out on all the wicked. The remaining men with ‘slaughtering weapons’ follows the man with the writer’s inkhorn who places that protective mark on God’s remnant people.
WHO Receives the Seal of God in These Last Days?
It is those whose characters have been SANCTIFIED.
It is those who have been sanctified daily by the power of the Holy Spirit and who have acquired a new CHARACTER that reflects the image of Jesus, Himself.
Remember what Jesus told Nicodemus in John chapter 3:3
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
We are reborn and our character is restored to reflect Jesus’ own image through the daily power of the Holy Spirit working in our lives.
You may ask, "How do I start this process?"
The sanctification process begins by praying to our Father, in Jesus' name, and surrendering our entire will to God and asking Him to transform your character.
We must do this because:
1. God will not force anything on you; and
2. We cannot sanctify ourselves without the power of God’ Holy Spirit.
We MUST be daily willing to submit ourselves to God and allow God's Holy Spirit to quietly change and transform our characters to be perfect and Holy.
Nothing is forced on us, but the Holy Spirit will help us recognize sin and give us the power to overcome sin and no longer commit sin. We have free choice to heed the urgings of the Holy Spirit or not. We must overcome sin because sin will not be allowed in heaven.
Jesus tells us the reward of overcoming in Revelation in these verses.
Revelation 2:7
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
Everyone needs to read more about this "SEAL OF GOD" that goes out to all the sanctified people at the end of Christ's Judgment as was given to God’s last day Messenger, Ellen G. White.
She wrote an entire chapter explaining "THE SEAL OF GOD" found in Testimonies Vol 5 (or No. 31, 1882). Please read it several times. It is an eye opener, but it is better to know than to end up like one of the 5 foolish virgins who are lost. You can read this online for free here.
We want to be ready for when Jesus comes, but we need to have purified, sanctified characters before stepping into our Father’s holy and sinless kingdom. The time for us acquiring sanctified characters is now.
